Water purification with small wind turbine
Installation of a small wind turbine for water purification

In conjunction with Hatenboer-Water, the Technical University Delft and De Nieuwe Weme a container wit a water purification system is developed.
This container is equipped with a reverse osmose installation that will make clean drinking water out of salty or impure water. Based on the 5 kW Montana wind turbine and an average wind speed of 5 m/s, 2000 to 3000 liters of clean drinking water per day are available.
Apart from the wind turbine, there are also a small array of solar panels and and a battery bank installed on the container.
The whole system is designed so all the equipment can be stored inside the container for transport.
